B.TECH/M.TECH CSE LIVE PROJECTS IN INTERNET OF THINGS(IoT)
The Internet of Things (IoT) refers to a network of physical devices, vehicles, appliances, and other objects embedded with sensors, software, and connectivity, which allows them to collect and exchange data over the internet. This creates a smart, connected environment where devices can communicate with each other and make autonomous decisions without human intervention. IoT has applications across various industries, including smart homes, healthcare, transportation, agriculture, and manufacturing.
Key Components of INTERNET OF THINGS(IoT)
Devices (Things): These are the physical objects or sensors that collect data or perform actions. They can range from everyday items like refrigerators and watches to more complex machinery used in factories or vehicles.
Connectivity: IoT devices need a way to communicate with each other and the cloud. This can be done using various protocols such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, LoRa, and cellular networks.
Data Processing: Once the data is collected, it needs to be processed. This is often done in the cloud, where powerful computing resources can handle large datasets and make decisions in real-time.
User Interface: After data processing, the results are often sent to users through applications or dashboards, enabling them to monitor and control devices. This could be a smartphone app, a web portal, or a notification system.
